You know her as one of KCAL 9 and KCBS 2 television’s most popular news anchors. But what you likely don’t know about Sandra Mitchell is that she’s a breast cancer survivor.
This Friday, March 28, 2014 at LA5 – The Rotary Club of Los Angeles – at the California Club, Sandra will relay her compelling, inspirational and often emotional story from diagnosis through treatment and finally recovery.
Now, in her talk, “Why me? Why now?” Sandra speaks out on her cancer journey and invites others to share her mission of hope that more women, with early diagnoses and treatment, can survive this dreadful disease. Sandra’s talk this Friday is something every woman and men with wives, daughters and sisters will want to hear.
Sandra will share how being diagnosed with a deadly disease gave her the will to really start living! From cancer to out of control fun, Sandra will share her story of how to work through our own “cancers.”
