ACG 101 Plans Panel on Accessing Capital for Growing Companies

Westlake Village, Calif. (June 16, 2014) – With the economy strengthening, companies are again thinking about expansion. Where can those companies – especially smaller businesses – find the capital they need to expand, and offer jobs to local residents?

The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) 101 chapter will gather Wednesday, July 9 from 7-9 a.m., at the Westlake Village Inn, 31943 Agoura Road in Westlake Village. J. Christopher Lewis co-founded Riordan, Lewis & Haden Equity Partners in 1982. Mr. Lewis serves on the Board of four current or past portfolio companies – Tetra Tech (NASDAQ: TTEK), RGM Group, Secure Mission Solutions, and Silverado Senior Living. Prior to founding RLH, Mr. Lewis worked at Bank of America. Mr. Lewis received both a B.S., cum laude, and an MBA from the University of Southern California. At USC he was a three-time All-American in Tennis, won two NCAA Championship titles and was awarded an NCAA post-graduate scholarship.

W. Hunter Stropp is the Co-President of THL Credit, Inc. and THL Credit Advisors LLC and serves on the Investment Committee and manages transaction allocation.  He currently serves on the board of directors of JDC Healthcare, Inc. and maintains a board observer role for C & K Market, Inc., CRS

Previously, he served in private equity and business development positions at Koch Industries, Inc. He holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Texas A&M University.

Robert Louk manages the Business Development efforts of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Southern California, covering middle market companies with annual revenues between $50 million and $2.0 Billion. He works with companies in the Los Angeles Metro, Coastal California, Orange County and San Diego markets. Bob is a graduate of UCLA, with an MBA from Cornell University.

Prior to joining BlackLine, he served as CFO for Interlink Electronics and BioSource International. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

David Bonrouhi is Managing Director of Calabasas Capital, a boutique investment banking firm providing financial advisory services primarily to lower-middle-market privately-held companies, business owners and entrepreneurs. David has over 20 years of investment banking and private equity experience, including M&A transactions, IPOs, private placements, high yield debt offerings and leveraged loan transactions.
